Cowan Ranch was established in 1999 by Bill and Michelle Cowan. It is located just west of I-35 between Ardmore and Marietta, Oklahoma. Bill and Michelle were both raised with horses. They are both AQHA, NRCHA, and NCHA members and show competitively within those associations. They have exhibited numerous NRCHA Futurity finalist, as well as several AQHA World Show Finalists.
